On September 19, 2002, 19 people were rounded up from around the community by rebel troops and brought to this location and executed. One of those men were Doran's husband Francis. We stood on the side of the road and she told us through a translator how they came during the night and stole their money and some clothing and took her husband the local postmaster. That was the last time she saw him alive. She along with their 10 children survived. One of her daughters was taken to the LRA camps to be indoctrinated as a soldier but was able to escape. As I shook her hand I told her how brave she was and that I would pray for her. Tomorrow we are visiting the Children of War rehabilitation center that is run by World Vision.
